Flow (logos)
2021
Plaster
Flow (logos) is a sculptural triptych composed of the three elementary geometric forms, a sphere, a cube and a tetrahedron, which symbolise the logos. Each of these elements was submerged in a river for 24 hours so that the current during that time would erode the form, dragging with it particles of matter, dispersing them along the river until it flows into the sea. The flow of the water has left its traces engraved on the surface of each geometric shape, making visible the turbulence that each shape caused as it was submerged by the current. The river in different cultures symbolises the passage of life and this vital flow leaves its traces in us.
