In this performance, I began by mixing 1,000 kilos of clay with a bale of straw. Using the mixture, I built an anthropomorphic form in the centre of the room. Immediately afterwards, I divided the form in two and, at the same time, divided the space as well. Shortly afterwards, using each half, I built another anthropomorphic form in the centre of each space; I then divided each form and each space in two once more and placed another form in the centre of each space. Thus, the action is repeated several times, dividing forms and spaces until a total of 160 figures and 160 spaces are obtained, each anthropomorphic shape of which occupies proportionally the same space as the first big figure. In the final phase of the action, I trampled the figures with my feet until they formed a layer of earth and straw. To finish, I placed a pile of clay and another of straw as an invitation to repeat the whole process indefinitely..
