Clay, water.

In this sculptural performance the first thing I did was to fill with water 81 unfired clay pots, arranged randomly around the room. After a while, the water began gradually to dissolve the walls (limits) of the pots until, one by one, they began to collapse, thus releasing the water they contained, which flooded the exhibition space. The water contained in each vessel separately, once its boundaries had dissolved, mixed with that of the others, forming a lake in which the remains of the vessels now lie submerged. As in other works of mine, here the process involves a transition from individuality to wholeness.
