A pyramid that works as a camera
obscura pointing to the sky.

Wood, canvas. 5 x 5 x 2.30 meters

This work consists of a pyramid with a base measuring 5 x 5 metres and a height of 2.30 metres, which functions as a camera obscura facing the sky: the image visible in the sky at that moment is projected across the entire surface of the pyramid’s base. (Clouds, the sun’s path…) The pyramid is the architectural element that connects the earth with the sky; as in other works of mine, it serves as a metaphor for the perceiving being – we are an empty space that receives echoes from the outside world.
