Synchro was conceived as a three-dimensional representation of the mathematical formula developed by Edward Lorenz to describe the convective movements that occur in the atmosphere. I was interested in how even the slightest alteration to a system’s initial conditions can alter its evolution – what is commonly known as the butterfly effect. Everything is interconnected, right down to the deepest levels.
